This home is in a very unique English Village neighborhood. All of the homes are quaint English Tudor style homes built in the 1920’s by a World War 1 veteran who fell in love with European architecture. The existing bathroom had a standard 5’ bathtub and shower surround. Very plain and
uninspiring. The goal was a transformation to an English Tudor rustic look with extravagance! This project required extensive structural work and owner did not spare expense in the final fixtures and finishes which include travertine tile with a Schluter linear shower drain, a custom soapstone sink by Bucks County Soapstone , fully custom quartersawn cherry cabinetry by J.S. Good Designs, and reclaimed chestnut and pine barn beams. Together with the in floor radiant heat, these elements truly blend and complement the existing home and provide a luxurious master bath retreat for the owners. We received a 2015 Contractor of the Year Award both from the Bucks Mont Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and a Regional Contractor of the Year Award from NARI National as the Best Bathroom from $75k to $100k. In fact, the project scored a perfect score of 90 in the regional judging.
